Submission Guidelines

Articles containing original research, reviews, and practice-based studies that enhance our
understanding of social knowledge and its practical applications are welcome at the Journal
of Social Knowledge and Practice (JSKP). The following are guidelines that should be
adhered to by the authors before they submit their work in order to have a smooth review
process and high standards of publication.
Eligibility of Manuscripts
● Manuscripts should be original, never been published before and not undergoing any
other journal.
● The submissions should be consistent with the theme and the topic of JSKP,
covering the topical issues of social sciences with their definite academic and/or
practical significance.
Manuscript Preparation
The general advice to writers is to make their manuscript perfect by following the following
general guidelines:

1. Language and Format

● The manuscripts ought to be composed in standard and academic English.
● Submit in the Microsoft word (.doc or.docx) format.
● Use standard structure (e.g. readable font, structure).

2. Structure of the Manuscript

The sections that a typical manuscript should consist of are as follows (unless otherwise
mentioned):
● Title
● Author(s) and affiliation(s)
● Abstract and Keywords
● Introduction
● Methodology Discussion Analysis.
● Results (if applicable)
● Conclusion
● References
In the abstract, the main aim of the study, methods, and results, and the implications are to
be summarized concisely.

Submission Process

● The submission of a manuscript is to be made to the JSKP submission system, by
registering or logging in.
● At the time of submission, remember to enter all the necessary metadata such as
name of the authors, their affiliations and contact information.
● Adhere to a submission checklist on the online system of the journal to make sure all
the requirements are fulfilled.

Ethical Standards

● Make sure that there is no plagiarism or all sources are properly referenced in the
manuscript.
● Any possible conflict of interest should be reported by the authors.
● Studies with human subjects are required to adhere to accepted ethical principles
and provide the right statements in the final paper.

After Submission

● Peer review will be done to determine the quality, relevance and scholarly value of
the manuscripts.
● Based on the reviews, authors might be requested to correct their manuscript.
● The editorial team sends final approval and details of publication.
